The Director
YVONNE VON MOLLENDORFF is founder, director and choreographer of this independant dance company since 1986. A successful career, multiple interests and the “pleasure of discipline” have given her a global vision of the art of dance, beyond the restrictions of four walls and the body.
She has received the ARTIST OF THE NATION reward and won The First Prize by CONCYTEC (National Council of Sciences and Technology) and has received diverse distinctions of representative institutions.
She is also the principal choreographer of the Peruvian National Ballet, state company for which she has created over 25 pieces.
Yvonne graduated from the Department of Dance of the Staatliche Hochschule fur Musik, in Munich, Germany, in choreography, pedagogy and dance.
In addition she collaborates regularly as teacher with prestigious theater groups and has developed a body lenguage system for actors, she has also directed and created several theater works for leading actors and companies, writes short stories, articles, designs lights and costumes and teaches.
