Chef? This service will save you valuable time, you won't need to worry about planning your meals, grocery shopping, wasting hours in the kitchen, cooking and cleaning. You will be able to spend your precious time in the evenings to relax in the company of your family. How does a Personal Chef work?
Can we afford your service? This is, naturally, a personal decision. A Personal Chef is a very special service, and it may not fit in everybody's budget. Nevertheless, consider that it involves a lot of dedication and a product that is specially customized to your needs. Remember, we will be planning, shopping and cooking just for you. It will save you valuable time and, more often than not, money. You may compare our service to buying a new business suit: You can purchase it from a department store at a discount price, or you can employ the services of an expert tailor. The second option may be more expensive, but it is assured to satisfy your need for a top quality product, and to be designed to the exact specifications you demand. How will you know what our family needs
are? When you contact us, we set up an initial free consultation. We will discuss special diet needs, allergies, food dislikes and preferences. We will open a special file for you and will work with it every time we prepare your menus. Can you work with special diets?
Do you prepare vegetarian
meals? Yes! We have ample experience with vegetarian cooking. We can prepare all sorts of dishes with grains, beans, vegetables and nuts for the vegan. We also prepare many dishes that include dairy products and eggs for the lacto-ovo-vegetarian. We can adapt almost any of our meat-based dishes to make them vegetarian, by employing meat-substitutes like TVP (textured vegetable protein), seitan, tofu, tempeh, or beans and grains mixes. My kids are very picky eaters, will they eat this food? Kids can learn to eat everything if they
are offered variety, and watch the people around them enjoying what they eat. Their tastes
can be nurtured by offering them different There is just one person in our family
that needs a special diet. Will it cost us It all depends on the condition. Sometimes it is possible to find an easy way to work around the regular menu. If it requires completely different meals, we may need to charge you an additional fee.
We are from another country and our
food is very different. Can you help us? Sure! We will work with you on your own recipes. We have available an extensive cooking library and have access to thousand of recipes. Enjoying your favorite ethnic dishes is not out the question anymore! I've heard that you cook in my kitchen.
Is that true? Yes, we bring our equipment and work in your own kitchen, to provide you with a truly 'homemade' confection. We will use your stove and will need space in your refrigerator and freezer to store the meals. And, of course, after we are done, we leave your kitchen spotlessly clean. How do you store our meals? We will store them in your freezer or refrigerator and label them for the appropriate serving sizes. There will be a container fee at the beginning of your service. You save the empty containers and we rotate them the day of the service. Can you use my containers? During the consultation
day we can determine if it is possible to work with pre-existing containers.
What is included with each Entree? Every entree is normally accompanied by a side dish like rice, pasta, polenta, couscous, noodles, or potatoes. Many entrees will already have vegetables in them and some will have a side vegetable serving.
What about salads, soups and desserts? They are not included in your basic package, but they can be added for an additional fee. Can you buy the rest of our
groceries? If you provide us with a list before your service day, we can take care of the rest of your grocery shopping and we will place them in your refrigerator and pantry. The fee for this service is 20% of the cost of the groceries.

What is a Personal Chef?
On a pre-assigned day, your Personal Chef
will go to the market and buy fresh groceries. Then your meals will be prepared from
scratch, at your place, leaving everything labeled, with complete heating instructions,
either in the refrigerator or the freezer. Later, you just warm your dinner and enjoy it.
Yes, we will adapt your meals to your
restrictions. We can also try to prepare that favorite dish that you crave so much for and
seems to be beyond your reach, by working with alternative ingredients.

kids are too picky we can start with appealing names for the dishes as "Active
Volcanoes" (mashed potatoes with meatballs and sauce), "Potato Boat",
"Chicken Pizza" (Chicken Parmigiana), "Ultrasonic Pork", "Under
the Sea Lasagna" (Seafood Lasagna), etc. We can also sneak vegetables and food they
do not like, so they can start eating them without even realizing it. It happened recently
that a kid was delighted with one of our lasagnas and, by the time he realized there was
spinach inside, he was already in his second serving!
